Ssssh…Can You Keep a Secret?

Looking for the simplest solution to convert every single person who reads your brochure or website? Good luck, and let me know when you find it!

I’m not the copywriter who promises a one-size fits all formula for increasing sales. You wouldn’t sell a stroller the same way you’d sell a pick up truck, no matter how much you spent on any “secret formula.”

Now we’ve gotten that out of the way, here’s an even better secret…

Great products don’t sell themselves.

Believing otherwise is as safe as assuming that your target audience is eagerly expecting your one-of-a-kind product or service to finally enter their life so that all can be well in the world.

In reality, it’s usually one of these 2 scenarios that have been holding you back from the success you deserve.

Scenario # 1: Not Unique Enough
Your product/service isn’t really that original. In fact, it might even take just a little searching to find out that your competitors are more appealing to your audience.  Good News- There are so many different ways to offer more and be better than competition… And that counts for you too.

Scenario # 2: Too Unique
You have no competition offering similar features in any product/service. Unfortunately, your concept is so original that nobody understands (or believes) the value… yet. Good News- It’s not features that sell products or services… it’s the benefits that convince people to buy. Effective communication with your audience can explain exactly what needs to be understood, build an interest, and encourage any audience to embrace your unique concept.

I don’t offer the secret recipe to success… just one of the secret ingredients.

Have you ever seen a car insurance commercial more than once… more than 10 times… and it still makes you laugh?

(If you thought of GEICO, you may have some idea how powerful branding can be.)

Advertising and marketing are important, but it’s the brand that people remember– not the product/service.

When the brand of a company is marketed, an imprint is made and stored for later. However, what good is a brand without communicating that brand– consistently– through marketing and advertising?

I can deliver your message the way your audience needs to receive it.

Great copy establishes positive branding in marketing collateral (like a brochure or a website) and can GRAB attention in advertisements. More importantly, great copy can significantly increase the ROI (return on investment) of direct marketing campaigns by increasing the conversion rate.

  • If you would like to know how a copywriter can help make your Brand stand out; your Advertising shout; and your Marketing count…

  • Or if you just want to talk about the Giants…
